Tutoring Process
Step 1: Inquiry
Families begin by submitting an inquiry. This provides background on the student’s course, goals, and availability and helps determine next steps.
Step 2: Intake Call
A brief (approximately 15-minute) intake call is used to discuss goals, learning preferences, and logistics, and to answer any initial questions.
Step 3: Introductory Session
Students complete a discounted introductory session to ensure a good fit, identify priority topics, and determine the most effective approach for ongoing support.
Step 4: Ongoing Tutoring
After the introductory session, families may choose from packages of hours for ongoing tutoring. Sessions are generally 60 minutes and scheduled based on student needs and availability.
Step 5: Progress Tracking
Families receive a progress tracker that includes:
- remaining tutoring hours, and
- topics covered in each session.
Students receive copies of any notes taken during sessions.
Submitting an inquiry does not commit you to tutoring.
